The course is not congested during the week.
Parties should advise the Secretary. Otherwise simply turn up, make your entry in the book provided and place your green fee in the box. An honesty system is in operation, although you may be requested to show your ticket on the course.
There are changing facilities with toilets, but no showers. The club house is not normally manned, but refreshments can be provided for parties by prior arrangement with the Secretary.
There are a number of good hotels and restaurants a short walk down the High Street.
Competition Times.
The Gents Competitions are played on Sundays when the tee is reserved between
12.30 and 3.30 p.m. March to October, and between 11.30 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.
November to February.
Visitors should start on Sundays before 11.00 a.m. March to October to avoid the
competition starting time of 1 p.m. for your second nine or after 3.30 p.m. .
Similarly during March to October before 10 a.m. or after 3.00 p.m. . During the
summer the tee is reserved on Friday evenings from 5.00 p.m. on.
The Ladies Competitions are played on Wednesdays at 4.00 p.m. from May to
August and on Saturdays at 10.00 a.m. September to March.
Visitors should start at least 2 hours before these teeing times or at least 2
hours after. Between these times priority is given to competitors.
